Mexico’s president has once again clashed with US president elect Donald Trump over the payment of a proposed wall along the two nations’ border. Enrique Pena Nieto said Mexico will not pay for the wall which is estimated to cost 25 billion dollars. He also demanded that Washington prevent the illegal trafficking of guns to Mexico. Pena Nieto said he will work to have a good relationship with Trump despite disagreements over the border. Mexico has also said it’s ready to discuss the future of the North American Free Trade Agreement. Trump has questioned NAFTA and has pledged to impose a border tax on goods coming from Mexico to the US. The incoming US president will take office on January 20.
