US President-elect Donald Trump stated he considers Russian President Vladimir Putin's appraisal of him to be "an asset and not a liability," during his first formal press conference in six months following his election victory in New York City, Wednesday. "If Putin likes Donald Trump, I consider that an asset and not a liability. Because we have a terrible relationship with Russia," Trump said. He said that at the moment he has neither deals nor loans with Russia, but that "We could make deals in Russia very easily if we wanted to, I just don't want to because I think that would be a conflict."
