Interior Secretary Overturns Obama Wildlife Lead Policy #okc #news #wth



This week, US Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke signed an order overturning a ban on using lead ammunition on wildlife refuges. The order overturns a policy implemented by former Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dan Ashe on January 19, which was the Obama administration’s last day in office. In addition, Zinke signed another order Thursday asking agencies to find ways to increase access to outdoor recreation. In a statement, the Interior Secretary said, "It worries me to think about hunting and fishing becoming activities for the land-owning elite.
