0 - Blender Video Editing (Tutorial Introduction / Blender History)

This is the introductory video to my updated tutorial series on using the freely available, cross platform, Blender program. This series is designed to help novice users learn to utilize Blender to create state of the art YouTube videos. If I can do it, anyone can do it! Where to download the FREE Blender program: http://bit.ly/1IarUfA **CORRECTION** In the video I said that Blender is Free forever because it is open source. I misused the the term "Open Source." To clarify, Blender is licensed under the "GPL 2 or Higher." This is a license that requires that any modifications to the source code, that are distributed to a 3rd party, be provided freely to the public - that was the "free" I was alluding to. Technically, there is nothing stopping a person from selling GPL software as long as they also give the same rights to everyone else. That means anyone can take the source code and give it away for free or sell it too. Confused? For those of you that would like to know more about "Open Source" Licensing, the GPL license, and the difference between "Free" Software and software that preserves your "Freedom", check out the following links: http://bit.ly/1Bd3Hbp http://bit.ly/1IarUMA http://bit.ly/1Bd3Knv Copyright Notice section ------------------------------------ All videos that are previewed within this tutorial video are licensed under the Creative Commons 3.0 license.
